Moovalot has activated its entire trailer fleet on a Verizon Wireless Mobile Private Network (MPN) — a dedicated, isolated cellular network that provides enterprise-grade connectivity for every IoT device in the field.
What a Mobile Private Network Means
Unlike standard consumer SIM cards, a Mobile Private Network gives Moovalot a dedicated slice of the Verizon LTE-M network that is:
- Isolated from public internet traffic — all device communication routes through a private APN
- Centrally managed — full SIM fleet visibility, usage monitoring, and provisioning from a single dashboard
- Optimized for IoT — LTE-M is purpose-built for low-power, always-on devices like GPS trackers and remote locks
- Nationally scalable — as Moovalot expands beyond Houston, every new trailer connects to the same private network infrastructure
Fleet-Wide Reconciliation Completed
In March 2026, Moovalot completed a full SIM fleet reconciliation — auditing every active device against the Verizon MPN console to verify signal health, data usage, and connectivity status across all 26 active locations. This forms the operational baseline for our Series A expansion into 100+ locations.
Strategic Partnership
Moovalot and Verizon are deepening their relationship beyond connectivity. A strategic partnership meeting is scheduled for Q2 2026 to explore co-marketing opportunities and tighter private network integration as Moovalot scales toward 300 trailers across the Houston metro and beyond.
Verizon's national MVNO infrastructure makes them the natural partner for a trailer rental company with national REIT ambitions — the same network that works in Houston today will serve Moovalot in Orlando, Chicago, and beyond.
