The Moovalot app is officially live on the Apple App Store (App ID: 6476172742, SKU: MOOVALOT2024).
iPhone users across the Houston metro can now download the app, locate the nearest available trailer on the map, and complete a rental in under 4 minutes — directly from their phone.
What the App Does
- Live map — all active trailer locations with real-time availability
- Digital checkout — ID verification, payment, and rental agreement in one flow
- Remote unlock — app sends the unlock command directly to the trailer's Digi XBee 3 cellular module via Verizon MPN
- Active rental screen — timer, return instructions, and support access during the rental
- Bilingual support — available in English and Spanish
Version History
The app launched as the v5.x series in April 2025 after internal builds from October 2024 through March 2025. As of March 2026, the current production version is v5.46, approved March 20, 2026. The companion internal ops app, Moo Tools v1.0, also entered Apple review in March 2026 for use by the Moovalot field team.
The Android version is live at com.reactnative.moovalot, approved on Google Play March 9, 2026.
